History of the conference

Cognitive Code did not begin as a public conference. It started in 2015 as a small internal meetup within TX Group, a space where colleagues from product, development and marketing could step outside their everyday roles, share what they were working on and learn from one another.

With the continued support of TX Group, the gathering grew year by year. What began as an in-house exchange gradually became the TX Conference: a larger, cross-disciplinary event built around the belief that the most interesting ideas rarely belong to just one field.  Two editions marked important moments in that evolution. In 2021, the online conference welcomed more than 1,200 attendees. In 2024, the event returned on-site in Belgrade and proved that it had become more than an occasional company gathering.

Then, in 2025, the conference took its biggest step yet. TX Conference became Cognitive Code and opened its doors beyond the company for the first time. The first external edition introduced a broader ambition: to create something more than another conference about technology.
The programme expanded beyond engineering and AI to include psychology, cognitive science, creativity and the human consequences of the technologies we build. Traditional one-way presentations gave way to more interactive formats, unexpected perspectives and conversations that continued long after each talk ended.

Cognitive Code has grown beyond the internal event it once was, but it still carries the same idea at its core: bring different people into the same room, give them space to think beyond their own disciplines, and see what becomes possible when those perspectives meet. TX Group remains an important part of that story, supporting the conference as it evolves from an internal initiative into an independent meeting place for engineers, leaders, researchers and unconventional thinkers.
